Genesee Bock poured a clear, reddish brown color with a finger width,
off white head. The aroma has some depth, with a biscuity malt aroma. The body is smooth and malty with some caramel
sweetness. The finish lacks a little, with a faint yeasty dryness. There was some hanging lace left on the glass.
Overall, this is an average beer. It has some nice malty flavor, but the body is a little thin and could use some hop
balance to counter the sweetness. Genesee releases this beer seasonally and it is a regional favorite as well as being
one of the best budget beers out there.
