Type: German-Style
Hefeweizen/Hefeweissbier ABV: 5%
| Price | 1.5 | | Packaging | 1 | | Aroma | 13 | | Flavor Beginning | 18 | | Flavor Middle | 22 | | Flavor End | 15 | | Overall | 12 | | Total | 82.5 | Hefeweizen poured a cloudy, straw yellow color with a paper thin,
white head although this might have been due to the bartender's pour. The aroma is all wheat. The body is thin,
and again all wheat. The finish is flat and offers a few lemon notes. Overall, a drinkable wheat that is a little
confused about its identity. Gilded Otter is calling this a German hefeweizen but this nowhere near that. Entirely too
thin and not nearly enough citrus, this is enjoyable but call it an American wheat and my score jumps 5 points.
