Human Blockhead poured a very
clear, reddish amber color with a finger width, off white head. The aroma very very stong, with lots of
malt, malt sugars and a noticable amount of alcohol. The body is very complex, with rich malt, a thick
mouthfeel and a light sweetness. As with the nose, the alcohol is noticable in the body. The
beer dries out a bit on the finish but is not particularly long or prominent. This beer packs a punch,
in terms of both flavvor and the alcohol. The beer is phenominal up front, and although I don’t think
it is supposed to have a big finish it is missing something at the end. This is a great beer to pair
with sharp cheeses.
