Vanilla Bean Brown Ale poured a clear, light brown color with a pen width, tan head.  The aroma fits the name as the nose was all vanilla beans and some dark malts.  The body is thin, with some malt, some coffee and more vanilla.  The finish is almost completely absent.  After enjoying their IPA, Landmark’s Vanilla Bean is a huge disappointment.  The vanilla is interesting but it seems overwhelming.   The body has no backbone to it and there is a real lack of carbonation.  There is also no trace of hops which would really help to balance this out.

The ultimate resource for beer drinkers!
