Scotch Ale poured a clear, dark copper color with a two
fingered, off white head. The aroma is dominated by malt with a little caramel. The body is big, sweet with heaps
of malt and plenty of caramel. The finish is sticky, leaving a bready dryness that compliments the body well.
Overall, this is a very good beer, one of New Yorks best kept secrets. It is well balanced, offers plenty of flavor,
and a really nice alcohol warmth on the finish. It might be a little thin for some but I love this beer and it is the
best thing to come out of Rochester since the garbage plate.
