dark brown, lackish color with a pen width, tan head. The aroma is deep, packed with dark malt and lots of chocolate
notes. The body is incredibly smooth, sweet, and with more chocolate notes. It is a little thin in the middle
and there are some coffee notes leading into a dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall, this is a very nice beer.
It has a huge flavor yet not overly done. It is a little thin in the middle; a little bit more backbone and
this will be an all-time classic but this beer is good enough as is. Beer fans who love beers that fit in
traditional styles will truly love this.
