Saranac Pale Pale Ale poured a crystal
clear, dark yellow color with a pen width white head. The aroma had a little malt, some hops, and a few citrus notes.
The body was pretty thin with only a little malt and more citrus holding it up. The finish is very short, with a little
yeast in it. This beer is really light without much to either the body or the finish. I know this is meant
to be a summer sessional for the really hot weather but I just find it bland. There is nothing that jumps out at me.
There are better beers to try from the folks at F.X. Matt.
