85 | Reunion '11 poured a dark brown color with a two fingered width, tan head.
The nose is mild, with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and chillies (the vanilla being the most prominent and the chillies
noticable but maybe not identifiable if I did not already know). The body has a velvety mouthfeel that is light on the
palate, malty with some sweetness and almost no middle. The beer finishes with a few hop notes underneath a lingering
heat from the chillies. Overall, this is a decent ale. The nose is nice, the first sip gives off a malty brown ale taste,
there is no middle, and a lovely finish. The chillies are noticeable but not overdone, but I am not sure the flavors
all work together. An interesting brew that seems a little disjointed.
