Southampton's Pumpkin poured
a clear, dark amber to light brown color with a finger width, off white head. The aroma is big and rich, with pumpkin
and a ton of spices. The body is smooth, a thick malt base, with nutmeg and other spices up front. The finish
offers a light dryness. Overall, this is a solid beer and one of the better pumpkin beers from New York.
The malt and pumpkin work well together, and this seems to get better as it wears on.
