2xIPA poured a clear,
golden yellow color with a finger width, frothy, white head. The aroma is clean, hoppy with lots of citrusy grapefruit.
The body is smooth and thick with enough malt to combat the huge amount of hops. There is some sweetness there
and a little alcohol is noticeable. The finish is bone dry with a hop bitterness. Overall, this
is another very nice beer from Southern Tier. It is a big beer at 8.2% but the ingredients blend well together and it
is pretty well balanced. It might be a little to much for some but 2xIPA is very good.
